Notting Hill Apartment

This apartment of a grown–up girl–about–town had to be stylish and chic with a sense of fun. We have worked in close collaboration with our client to combine her strong style and decadent eye, with practical ideas for everyday living. The result is a home that is both a great place for entertaining, as well as a comfortable retreat away from the busy world outside.

The huge curved walls in the drawing room were hand–painted by our friend, artist Georgia Lindsay in pearlescent paint with a large Fortuny–inspired pattern, perfect for the grand scale of the room. Our neighbours on Kensal Road, Fromental, designed the stunning chinoiserie in the master bedroom. This was hand–painted on silk in our own colourway complementing the scheme of dark wood and mirror, with a deeply feminine flourish of pink.
